LIBRARY
The library, the nerve centre of any educational institution, yields its riches when used maximally. It makes one mentally sound, morally good and intellectually efficient. Our college library, has a total of 6326 books,and around 50 journals are subscribed regularly. English and Tamil newspapers are also subscribed.
HOSTEL
This is a campus that invites students out of their hostels to spend time after their classes. Every effort has been made to provide the best possible facilities for students who live on campus. The girls get a safe and secure environment with exclusive study halls, entertainment room and access to sports facilities and library. They are put under the direct vigil of our Principal and a lady warden. Healthy, Delicious and hygienic food is served In-house at the hostel campus.
TRANSPORT
Our college buses are well connected to all major areas of Thanjavur and its surrounding regions. Where sufficient demand exists and no public transport is available, the college is willing to provide transport. All the students, teaching and non-teaching staff can avail free transport facilities
INTERNET FACILITIES
The internet has become the primary source for latest and unbounded knowledge for students craving for tips, suggestions and general knowledge. Queens College of Arts and Science for Women have ultra-modern infrastructure with 100MBps internet connectivity.
CLASSROOM
Class rooms are spacious well ventilated with natural light and adequate electrical facilities. Well designed furniture teaching aids like LCD etc...are used in the teaching learning process.
LABORATORY
Queens College of Arts and Science for Women has well furnished and fully equipped laboratories with all facilities fulfilling the rules and regulations of Government of Tamilnadu and Bharathidasan University in order to impart excellent practical knowledge to the students of this college. The college enables teachers and students to acquire skills in computer languages, office package and web designing. Ultra modern, spacious laboratories with the state-of-art technology offer an advantage to the students. The fully equipped, networked and internet connected computing centre with 60 active terminals, provides students a constant access to the World Wide Web, to cutting-edge hardware and software. A language lab for phonetic training boosts the confidence of the linguistic skill of students. The College has its own well equipped and furnished Physics Laboratory for providing the students ample opportunities to conduct the experiments with scientific knowledge and principles. Physics Laboratory is equipped with sophisticated equipments and lab tools serving all disciplines of science.
